LOS ANGELES (AP) ? Prosecutors say there is insufficient evidence to file charges against Michael Madsen stemming from his arrest last week after a fight with his teenage son.
A district attorney's spokeswoman says a prosecutor rejected filing a misdemeanor cruelty to a child charge Wednesday.
The "Reservoir Dog" and "Kill Bill" star was arrested by sheriff's deputies Friday at his home in Malibu.
Detectives investigated allegations that Madsen was under the influence of alcohol and fought with his son, who did not need medical attention.
He was released on $100,000 bail.
