Even if it's part of American culture for decades, many people have never been to a rodeo. With their growing popularity, some might like to go, but a little "unsure what happens. Let us in a rodeo and this means that the Participants for the first time that you expect to find.

Especially professional rodeos in North America under the coordination of both Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA) and WomenProfessional Rodeo Association (WPRA). There are other organs of government for the children of high school, university level, the elderly, Native Americans and other minorities.

Rough stock events and timed events: The modern professional rodeo events can be divided into two categories. The rodeo events are:

Rough Stock Rodeo Events:

Bronc riding ? perhaps one of the most iconic events of the rodeo are trying to stay the pilot.the horse for 8 seconds. You are not allowed to touch the horse with his free hand. A maximum of 50 points is given for both the rider and horse. Both of these values ??is to be with the total scores in the 80-point range and is very exposed to high marks in the 90s. (Hey, readaz. With the blog a little neglected and uninspired for the past, oh, four years or so, I?ve decided to try and get it going by writing what I know: how we, or at least I, live life and do stuff in the integrated digital world. Broad topic? Sure. Chance to bump up both the professional and personal content of this site at the same time? You know it. Look for digital-oriented pieces at the beginning of the week ? there aren?t many excuses not to write when I?m kicking around a post for an entire week, and if you just can?t get enough regular input from some peripheral online guy you?ve probably never met, there?s always my Twitter feed.)

G and I had a home-decor wakeup call a few weeks ago: We were upstairs at our friends? place for a few drinks, and not having been in their home for a while, we were gobsmacked to walk in and realize how awesome and grown-up the place looked. After a round of ?maybe we should move on from that college-era TV stand? discussions, the only logical step was the one that followed: home improvement.

Many years ago, my dad (who?s a home-improvement Natural, like Robert Redford with a miter saw) purchased what he called ?the blue book? for himself as a handyman?s guide. Inside were instructions on installing new faucets, rewiring rooms, installing shelves and many other useful tips and tricks. He referred to this book almost every time a floor cracked or something needed to be redone, so the blue book was more or less a self-contained paper Google. (That?s how we People of the Future describe what used to be called ?the book?s index?.)

As a Person of the Future, my first instinct is to head online whenever I don?t know anything, and with home improvement, that?s often. (As Habitat for Humanity VP in b-school, I may have hauled a lot of drywall and installed my share of soffit, but that?s a lot more impressive-sounding and a lot less knowing-how-to-do-anything.) You could argue whether this is a better or worse approach than consulting the blue book ? and to be honest, I really can?t decide ? but as a guy who?s way too proud of himself just for changing out a broken toilet handle, home improvement is a particularly apropo time to head online. Don?t know how to align a ceiling joist? Google it! Don?t know what ?countersink? means? Google it! Don?t know how to hammer a nail, you lame ass? Google it!

When I?m at work, the first thing I always think about on a project is, ?If I need to do something, what are the best digital ways that this company can help me do it?? Let?s say I?m installing some shelves, as we recently decided to do. Here?s how I went about it:

1. Pick out a search term,
2. Enter the search term,
3. Scan the search results for URLs I consider legitimate, and
4. Decide if I like the content enough to listen to what the site has to say.

That last one is the most important ? maybe thisoldhouse.com told me shelving takes more time and money than I want to put in, so being a cheap, lazy noob, I?ll go see what ehow.com and homedepot.com have to say until I find an easier approach. I call this the ?As a trusted independent source, tell me what I want to hear anyway? theory. (Future installments will show that this inclination is pretty damned important in digital decisions.)

So with those in mind, here?s what I as a novice want a home-improvement website to do for me:

1. Be a URL I recognize or that seems intelligent (branding!),
2. Have an article addressing what I want to do as closely as possible in my search results,
3. Outline clear, concise and non-technical instructions showing me every step of the project and the amount of work involved,
4. Give me as many shortcuts as possible without omitting the drawbacks of those shortcuts, and
5. Have a mobile site, because I?m probably looking this up on my phone so I can keep the info right there while I work.

Ultimately G and I hired a dude to do the shelves anyway, because I?d rather not take three months of weekend free time to hang a crooked block of plywood that makes all of our photo albums fall in a uniform direction. (I could get those old photos digitized, but remember: cheap and lazy.) Now our shelves look great. Perhaps that doesn?t quite fit with the ethos of this DIY article, but the DVR is sitting damn straight right now. Practicality!

With all the excitement from the VMAs last night (Beyonc? is knocked up?!!) we thought we'd give you some bonus time to DVR this week's "True Blood" before we gathered 'round the blolumn water cooler to discuss the latest Bon Temps trouble.

And there's plenty of trouble these days.

'Cause last week's episode ended with Eric and Bill dueling to the death, with Sookie trapped in the middle (of course). So what's the fate of our fave vamps?

Eric's Back!

Say adios to the adorably clueless Eric (Alexander Skarsg?rd). As you'll remember, those pesky witches ordered him to kill King Bill (Stephen Moyer). Well, after a bit of blood was spilled, Sookie (Anna Paquin) stepped in and used her fairy powers to break up the fisticuffs, which also zapped the Viking's memories back into his blondie noggin.

And even though Eric was still game for the lovey-dovey stuff after having his (mucho long) life flash before his eyes, Sookie decided that was the?opportune time to tell him she was still in love with Bill. Oh boo hoo, I'm torn between two supernatural studs.... Sounds like a total #whitegirlproblem to us!

R.I.P. Tommy, You'll Be Missed ... Kinda.

Tommy (Marshall Allman) decided to do his first good deed, like, ever and wound up getting himself killed. After pulling a skinwalker switcheroo and fighting in Sam's place, Tommy got the crud kicked out of him and refused to let Alcide take him to the hospital (why? That's a good question and one we cannot answer for the life of us).

Instead, Tommy went back to Sam's place where he got all teary eyed and apologized to his bro and then bit it. Now Sam's on the werewolf war path and nobody's had time to pour any champagne out for Tommy during Merlotte's happy hour. Totally disrespectful, we say.

Witches Gone Wild!

Marnie (Fiona Shaw) has gone and lost her mind, y'all. If you're like us, you thought Marn was a sweet, little witchey-poo and Antonia was the 400 year old sociopath. Well, turns out that's totally backwards. Antonia is a baby-loving softie and Marnia is completely loco! Tho', now they're both crazy with power and hell bent on killing vamps.

Which is why Bill, Eric, Jessica and Pam (in total LOL-worthy S.W.A.T. style) set out to blow up the Moon Goddess Emporium, thinking that Tara and the other witches were trapped inside. Thing is, Tara and Sookie disappeared in that giant yellow magic wall to.... Well, we don't quite know yet.

Maryland Heights Patch: Where do you find your inventory?

Daniel Schmitt: We have a company airplane, and we fly all over the country in search of new classics.

Patch:?What?s the most expensive car you?ve sold in the past??

Schmitt:?Just sold a four-car package for $650,000 this week, which included a 1938 Packard for nearly $300,000.

Patch:?What?s the market like for collectible?cars?

Schmitt:?The market is very strong and getting stronger every day.? Even through the most recent recession, collector?cars?have steadily gone up in value, mainly due to the new global market opened up by the Internet.

Patch:?Where do your customers come from? St. Louis? Other parts of Missouri? Other states?

Schmitt:?We sell less than 1 percent into Missouri, and 50 percent go overseas. We have recently sold?cars?into New Zealand, Australia, Dubai, Brazil, Russia, and just this week we shipped out two 1969 Corvette?s to a Sheikh in Qatar.

Patch:?What is your personal favorite automobile?

Schmitt:?1961 Ferrari 250GT California Spyde

Patch:?How do contemporary?cars?compare to those of past decades? Are newer models as well built?

Schmitt:?The newer models are much better designed and built. The allure of the classics is in the artful design.

NDSU assistant wrestling coach suspended | The Associated Press ...

North Dakota State assistant wrestling coach Bret Maughan (mawn) has been suspended for five days without pay after a drunken driving conviction.

Athletic Director Gene Taylor told The Forum newspaper that Maughan also will have to go through an alcohol evaluation. He says if Maughan gets another DUI he will be fired.

Maughan declined comment to The Associated Press on Thursday.

Police records show that Maughan was arrested in Fargo on July 14. He was later given a 30-day suspended jail sentence and ordered to pay about $600 in fines.

Maughan is the son of retired NDSU head wrestling coach Bucky Maughan.

Hurricane Irene Threat Prompts Obama To Cut Martha's Vineyard Vacation Short

VINEYARD HAVE, Mass. (AP) -- The White House says President Barack Obama is cutting his Martha's Vineyard vacation short because of Hurricane Irene. He'll return to Washington on Friday night instead of Saturday afternoon.

Spokesman Josh Earnest says Obama made the decision shortly after urging Americans in Hurricane Irene's path to heed warnings about the storm. Earnest says Obama decided it would be more prudent for him to be at the White House at the end of the day, instead of in the New England area.

Irene is expected to make landfall Saturday in North Carolina and then head toward New England.

LONDON (AP) ? More than two weeks after riots, Britain's government and police met social media executives Thursday to discuss how to prevent their services from being used to plot violence.

But authorities did not seek new powers to shut down Facebook, Twitter or BlackBerry Messenger in times of crisis.

The four days of rioting, triggered by a fatal police shooting in north London's Tottenham area on Aug. 4, were the worst civil disturbances to hit Britain since the 1980s, and left a trail of looted stores, torched cars and burned-out buildings in several English cities. Five people died in the violence, including three men run down by a car as they protected stores from looters in England's second city, Birmingham.

Police and politicians claim young criminals used social media to coordinate looting sprees. Prime Minister David Cameron has said police and intelligence agents would look at whether there should be limits on the use of social media sites or services like BlackBerry Messenger, which is simple and largely cost-free, in times of disorder.

Civil libertarians have reacted with alarm to suggestions the services could be shut down.

A group of rights organizations including Amnesty International and Liberty wrote an open letter to the government before the meeting with executives of Facebook, Twitter and BlackBerry maker Research in Motion Ltd.

The letter said "new measures, made in good faith but in a heated political environment, will overextend powers in ways that would be susceptible to abuse, restrict legitimate, free communication and expression and undermine people's privacy."

A Home Office spokeswoman said before the meeting that there was "no suggestion" the sites would be closed down.

Afterwards, the government said the discussions "looked at how law enforcement and the networks can build on the existing relationships and cooperation to crack down on the networks being used for criminal behavior."

"The government did not seek any additional powers to close down social media networks," a Home Office spokesman said on condition of anonymity in line with government policy.

Research In Motion called the "positive and productive," saying the company was "pleased to consult on the use of social media to engage and communicate during times of emergency."

Facebook said it already took down threats of violence and other offending material, and was working on making the process speedier.

"We look forward to meeting with the home secretary to explain the measures we have been taking to ensure that Facebook is a safe and positive platform for people in the U.K. at this challenging time," the company said in a statement.

Several people have been charged with using social media to incite riots, including two men who were jailed for four years each for using Facebook to "organize and orchestrate" disorder. The riots the two called for never happened.

A senior police officer revealed last week that the force had considered seeking approval to switch off such services like Twitter during the mayhem, but decided against it.

The acting chief of London's police force, Tim Godwin, told lawmakers that the legality of such action was "very questionable," and social networks were a useful intelligence asset.

Police used Twitter to provide information updates during the riots, and said they sent officers to protect major London shopping centers and the 2012 Olympics sites after intercepting messages on Twitter and BlackBerry Messenger saying they were targets for rioters.

The issue of curbing communications is extremely sensitive for democratic governments.

Earlier this month, transit authorities in the San Francisco area cut cell phone and wireless data service in subway stations earlier this month to disrupt plans for a protest.

The move drew unfavorable comparisons to former Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak's attempts to cut Internet access to quell demonstrations protesting his regime.

Leaders of the San Francisco Bay Area's transit agency have since said they may adopt a policy allowing police to turn off wireless communications on train platforms ? but only in extreme public safety circumstances.
